About me

My name is Thomas Harris, I’m in my twenties and I live in Essex, England. I am an avid birdwatcher and photographer. I started birdwatching as a hobby around 2008 and since then I’ve developed my birdwatching and photography skills while also learning a huge amount about the wildlife I observe. Essex actually provides some great locations to go birdwatching and see a large range of wildlife species, I was a volunteer for 6 years at Abberton Reservoir Essex Wildlife Trust from 2009 where I helped put up and maintain bird boxes, plant trees, trim hedges, clear scrub, monitor pond life and a variety of other things to help maintain the reserve.

My aims are to grow as a photographer and to become more well known as a photographer within the wildlife photography community.
